Per the HOA regulations, all exterior adjustments need to be reviewed and approved (or denied) by the Board of Directors. To start the process for any exterior adjustments, fill out the form on this page and send it to the Architectural Control board member. If you have any questions, you can also reach out to them before you send the form. Please do not start work until it is approved.
When sending your approval request in, please make sure to include all photos, color samples, dimensions, deadlines, timeframe and other information with the request.

Windows
Windows
Requires Approval. Windows must be the same size as existing windows, and must match the brown color of all other current windows. Color sample is required with request.
Egress Windows

Requires Approval. Full detailed and dimensionally accurate drawings are required. This work requires a permit from the City of Arvada.
Skylights

Requires Approval. Full detailed and dimensionally accurate drawings are required. This work requires a permit from the City of Arvada.
Screen Doors

Requires Approval. Generally, must be black in color. Tinted windows are okay.
Front Door Replacement

Requires Approval. Must be identical to current doors within complex, or an approved design such as a 6-panel door.
Front Door Color

Requires Approval. The approved color is Behr "Mannequin Cream" OR-W03 or white. Some exceptions are made when the screen door is tinted or obstructing main view of the front door.
AC Units
AC Units
Requires Approval. Window mounted AC units are not allowed. Replacement of main AC unit must be approved. Homeowner is liable for any roof damage caused by AC replacement work including leaks.
Exterior Fences

Requires Approval. Painting is not allowed. Fence posts are generally replaced by the HOA, but if you are replacing them, the natural cedar color is to remain.
Mailboxes

Requires Approval. Must be black and have the same approximate standoff of the existing mailbox.
Front Porch Lights
Front Porch Lights
Requires Approval. Must be black. Must be the globe-style used in the community. No requirements for interior porches. The association has extra fixtures if your front porch light needs to be replaced.

Requires Approval. Vent pipe must be of the appearance of the downspouts, and be painted to match the wall/trim. It is preferred that they go through interior porches if available.
Exterior Vents

Requires Approval. Any exterior vents such as bathroom fans, HE furnaces, range hood fans etc. must be painted to match other vents and/or trim/area that it is in. Any venting of combustion products (carbon monoxide) requires a permit from the City of Arvada.

Fully Enclosed Interior Patios
Requires Approval. Enclosing the patio requires full detailed and dimensionally accurate drawings. This work requires a permit from the City of Arvada.
